Webchief client guides
Below you will find step by step instructions for everything you need to know for your new website.
Your Intake Form
The following sections will help you fill out the intake form with confidence. If you are an existing client you can ignore this.
Research
Explain your product and or service. What are you actually selling? Your prices, packages and inclusions. Think of it like a menu of products. Ideally you show your prices on your website and have 2 to 3 offerings.
Messaging

We use the storybrand framework to clarify your message. Storytelling is proven way to high-jack people's attention. Taking this approach means we can create compelling copy in which we can position you as the guide that helps your client win the day.
Here is a breakdown for each section:
Your Client
Who is your ideal customer and what do they want as it relates to your product or service?
With a Problem
External
What is in the way of getting what they want that your customer has to deal with as it relates to your product or service?
Internal
How does this make your customer feel? What is their internal dialog?
Philosophical
Why is it “just plain wrong” for your customers to be burdened by this problem? Why do they have "enough of this"?
Meets A Guide
Why are you the most suitable person to help your customer?
Empathy
What brief statement can you make that expresses empathy and understanding?
Authority
How can you demonstrate competency in solving your customer’s problem? What are the benefits in your product or service that prove that?
Give Them a Plan
Summarise Your Plan
What is a 3 or 4 step plan you can give them that will solve their problem? You can also explain how your product can be used after the sale.
As a rule of thumb these are the stages of the 3 steps:
- Engagement
- Experience
- Success
Agreement
List the agreements you can make with your customers to alleviate your fears of doing business with you. These are like guarantees and disclaimers.
Call Them To Action
What is your direct call to action?
This is what you want them to do on your site. Make it short, actionable and obvious. Typically this is "Book a Call", "Schedule a Free Consultation", "Request Pricing"
What is your transitional call to action?
For visitors on your site that are not ready to commit to the direct call to action, what is an alternative? This typically leads to a "lead magnet" such as a free PDF, a quiz or a signup in exchange for their contact details.
The Successful End
Successful results

How does their life look like if they engage you?
The Tragic End
Tragic results

The Transformation
From
How was your customer feeling about themselves before they used your product or service?
To
Who will your customer become after they use your product or service? What is their aspirational identity?
